Nicholas "Nick" Allott, OBE is a British theatrical producer. ==Career== Allott is Managing Director of Cameron Mackintosh Ltd. 〔(Profile ), thisislondon.co.uk]; accessed 28 February 2015.〕 Allott was named as one of London's 1000 most influential people of in 2011 and 2012 by the ''Evening Standard''. He was a member of the Cultural Olympiad Board 2012, a trustee of The Foundation for Sports and the Arts 1992-2012, and is currently a Director of the Roundhouse Trust , the Oxford School of Drama, and since 2005 has been Chair of the Soho Theatre, one of the UK’s few theatres specifically producing new plays by and running workshops with new and first time playwrights.〔(Profile ), thefsa.net; accessed 28 February 2015.〕 In February 2011, Allott was appointed a member of the Theatres Trust by Culture Minister Edward Vaizey, and has been reappointed for a second term till 2017.
